PharmaSwiss operates in

countries, including the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia
and Lithuania), Czech and Slovakia, ex-Yugoslavia
(Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia,
Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia), Greece, Hungary,
Israel, Albania,
Bulgaria, Romania and Poland.
In a challenging political and social environment,
Central and Eastern Europe and Greece have made
impressive achievements in structural reform. As
they progress through the European Union
Stabilization and Association Process, they are
growing at a faster pace with respect to the world
economy and inflation is declining steadily. The
same is true of Israel, which while not a member of
the EU, is growing faster and becoming more stable
economically.
To be sure, some of the greatest challenges lay
ahead - the fight against corruption, the completion
of the privatization process and the reform of the
public sector. Yet in spite of the risk inherent in
doing business in our region, opportunity abounds
for multinational healthcare companies.
